Personal theory ~

There are two types of comic book fans.  Batman fans and Superman fans.  Batman had no actual powers, so he inspired people who wanted to do something.  But Superman has The set of powers, so he inspires those who need an excuse to do nothing.

'What can I do ?' 

I'm thinking most of these clowns are Superman fans.  Personally I don't read comic books and never really did but for a brief time in Vertigo and a couple of layovers at local libraries.  Mostly Clone Wars.  Not bad actually.

Too bad the movies didn't read them, would have been great to see.

Also too bad Niel Gaiman turned out to be a creeper, kinda kills it for me.  But Superman ?  Honestly Snyder nailed it, and I can't even stand the guy.
