Well the problem is a lot of these movies really do suck the complete ass, and their creators are regularly as shite human beings as the haters.  Gender/race swapping for moral credibility is lazy and forms a soft base for self righteousness which is Wholly unearned.

These so often being people who have stolen from me.

AI assisted scripts are lazy, last minute reshoots on fast edits of those scripts being the reward.  More work.  Not less.  And more cost.  Relying on budget, known stars, known brands, recycling the same bullshit tea bag until it's got nothing left for the water but weak yellow dye, is lazy.

I'm done with all these fucks, the franchises and haters alike.  None of them deserve to get what they want, and that's the real and actual problem here.

Just a bunch of motherfuckers being motherfuckers, getting paid at everyone's expense but their own, for sucking the compete ass.

PS ~ Never open in the middle of a story unless there's a mystery about something which could only be answered by knowing those events.  The mystery of the clone was obvious because original Superman 3.
