You know, it honestly looks like another franchise from the same company might bail you out anyway, but I have to tell you, I'm not sure your franchise can be fixed.  It had a good run, and then it had a bad run.  Now nobody cares.

I can help the other more easily because it has a more solid and predating foundation with greater merchandising potential.

But if they bail you out, it does nothing for your soul.

Nor will we be brainstorming to see if maybe it can be fixed.  We could try.  But I can tell you, though I may not be able to help it, I won't do anything to hurt it.  Steal from me again however and the company may well decide to cut their losses and shelve it for future reboot under new management.

Because Drama.

That may already be the course.  Fact is, folding me in may be the only way to prevent it.
