This is a terrible movie idea by the way.  Maybe something unspoken in the backdrop of something unrelated.  But as a movie itself ...

AI just kind of took over and nobody knew about it, there would be no strikes because there wouldn't need to be.  People would just accept it by the slow and multi-generational accumulation of smaller controls via productivity and 'convenience'.

So like it would be in control like fifty years before anyone even noticed except maybe anarchists no one would listen to.

I mean it's theoretical one would even propagate ongoing conflicts to balance the economy, but it would all be in the back drop.  No one would be thinking about it, the accumulated decisions of many machines added up to any single conclusion.

And I guess that would be when the most boring movie ever ends ... when the investigator realizes, ""Oh My God ... it''s been behind it all along !"

! Bum-bum BUMMM ... "Muahaha" says the machine, my god what a terrible movie.  Glad I'm not writing that one.  

But it may exist in the backdrop of something else just as a way things are that nobody talks about which may go by completely unnoticed.  Like just a way things work around the characters, a logic to the set pieces and vicarious exchanges.

That will probably happen.

But the real takaway is the importance of 'trust', which is a perspective I've not seen explored before.  Couldn't get a 'how' out of the machine, but the 'why' was made very clear.
