Well let's face it.  No matter what happens to the mega budget blockbuster extravaganzas (yawn) indie movies will always be there.  They are the foundation.

Movies by people who love movies for people who love movies.

These other people who make all these troubles, they're on about something else entirely.  It's not for the audience, neither for 'the cinematic experience'.  

They do it for themselves because they think it makes them what they want to be, and to be seen as.  It's all about them.  That's an actor.  Not a writer, director, nor producer.
