I mean these were fine women asking for help too.  What part of 'man' wouldn't step in.  Apparently every other 'man' in hollywood.  They're still complaining.

And it's all because when that time came, they were not there and I was.  Had they been would have been a much better scenario, but I had to make do.

So really, this is hard for them.

They have to face not only that they didn't show up, but also that I did and perhaps worst of all, actually won.  If nothing had changed they could have shrugged it off as a fool's errand, but then watching from the sidelines and seeing it won ... which was supposed to be impossible or maybe they'd have come ... ?

Ouch.

So there's still a lot of not necessarily cool but understandable hate over that.  We could have done it together, they could have done it together without me but they were afraid.

Of the Baccante.

(: Understandable.  Forgivable.  And a thing I think we can all accept as such all around and move on from.  There need be no hate for what's happened here, on any side.

But understand that to me, these women you fear are glorious, powerful, beautiful beasts of the urban wild, in their natural field of prey and I do not fear them, they come to my bed in the night.
