Asylum

A cop car drives slowly up to the nightclub, converted from church and now crawling with punks and crime.  Bottles thrown at his car, he parks with a sneer.

The Canon Club.

Gets out, loads his gun to scatter the rats and looks up at the clock tower peak.  Midnight.

Cop - "Figures."  Looks to his partner getting out, a nervous glance to the clock.  Holsters the piece and they head for the door to the amusement and mockery of all.  Past the line and to the bouncer, "We got a call abo - "

Belial (the bouncer) - "Don't care."  Punches him hard, stunning him, while the outside crowd pulls his partner into their count.  Belial grabs his gun belt and throws it to the mob, and tosses the cop to the nightclub floor, the band beginning to play ~

The cop stumbles in to fist after kick, a bottle over his head crashes him to his knees, he crawls.  Kicked on by Belial behind into the mosh where they all work him over to the song.  Slumped, he's dragged by Belial to the elevator, going up.

Thrown to the floor before Eresh and Nergal.  Nergal at the window with binoculars looking for food, sniper rifle on his back, Eresh at the desk.

Eresh - "Well good evening officer, what can we do for you ?"

Blood pours from his mouth as he tries failing for his feet.

Eresh - "Hm ?"  Looks to Belial, "We I guess it must have been nothing then."

Nergal - "Oh I see a pretty ... "  He lowers the binoculars and hefts the gun, keeping his eyes on the prize ... "pretty pretty ... "

Eresh - Watching the cop, "So what's for dinner ?"

Nergal - "Pregnant sow, fatty fatty ... but not too much so ... boil and broth ... "  Sights the scope.  "Boil.  And.  Broth."  Fires, shoulders, binoculars up.  "Heh.  Belial.  Fourth and Burnside.  Send the chef."

Cop - Hard breathing, "You're gonna burn."

Nergal - "I already do."  Picks him up with notable strength and throws him from the window crashing to his own car, sending the taggers at work away.  On his phone, "Ah.  Commissioner.  We really need to discuss your hiring practices ... again.  So come to the party."

The taggers laugh at the body and continue painting over the it, those dead eyes watching nothing to the sound of his partners screams.
